Set Main Directory (indexing your mp3 collections)
  1. Default directory is the internal storage, as for this example it is /storage/emulated/0
    If your MP3 collections under this directory, go on select the folder. Otherwise go to step 2
  2. My MP3 collections is in SDCard, where are my external storage directories?
    You can always hit .. to go to upper directory until you found them.
  3. Loading dialog will appears, wait til it's done

You can always do this again later on at setting Change/Rescan MainDir

How To Make A Donation (Become a member of MixTapeBox Community)

We need your donation to keep the service alive. Consider as you were satisfied with the Lite Edition, you give us some donation.


Internet connection is required.

  1. Sign in with your google account. Tap on Sign In
    button.

    You can use the same account on any other devices.

  2. A preview video will be played, tap on I’ll make a donation button whenever you’re ready to make a donation.
  3. Donation options will be provided (may differ, depend on your country). Choose one tap on its logo.
  1. Tap the number if you want to donate more than the minimum amount, then tap on DONATE NOW button.
  2. You’ll be informed about the amount and address for your donation. Tap button to copy the value to clipboard. Tap OK,GOT IT button, go make your donation with the provided info. Check your email too for the details.

    Check the spam folder if the email not in your inbox, and please kindly whitelist our email.

Be informed that it may take sometimes for your donation gets into our account. Once we received it, we will absolutely activate your account and immediately notify it to your email as well.

Enqueue (Set song(s) to be played next)
  1. Tap icon of the desired song to reveal its options
  2. Tap Enqueue This Song to put the song into enqueue list
  3. Next to the song name will be put number(s), eg: (1), means that this song will be played next in #1 turn

You can do the same steps again to remove the song from enqueue list, however tap on Remove from Enqueue

How to activate Wake/Sleep Mode
Just switch the sun/moon toggle
  • See the sun? Obviously you’re on wake mode. This’s useful when you want to keep the lyric/ chord screen alive while playing on it.

    Keeping your screen on for a long time will drain the battery, use it wisely. Don’t forget to turn it off. How do you feel if someone turned you on and just left?

  • See the moon? Meaning you’re on sleep mode. MixTapeBox plays in the background while let your screen sleeping.

    You might need to set MixTapeBox on your Power-saving Exception in order to prevent it prematurely kicked out while your device sleeping.

How to change Language
Just go to Change Language then tap on your preferred language

How to set ID3 Tag
  1. Tap icon of the desired song to reveal its options
  2. Tap See Song Detail to.. well, it is self-explanatory.
  3. Tap Download Info button to gain the ID3 Tag from the community cloud

    This feature is exclusively for MixTapeBox Community Edition.
    Download Info can NOT be done in Lite Edition.

Don't forget tap on Save button once updated
If no result, you have 2 options:
1. Fill it yourself by tapping Manual Edit button, or
2. Sleep on it, try again another day, hoping someone at community has the same song with complete ID3 Tags.



Tips for better search:
Manual edit the song title and artist fields, make sure they are valid, leave others empty, then hit save. After that, try downloading the info again.
PS: "Artist1 & Artist2" sometimes written as "Artist1 feat. Artist2"
